First Steps
After logging in, here's how to get started with Arketic AI in just a few minutes.
1. Explore the Interface
When you log in for the first time, you'll see the main interface with the sidebar on the left and the content area on the right.

The sidebar contains all your navigation:
- New Chat button at the top
- Workspace sections (Projects, Tasks, Documents, etc.)
- Recent conversations at the bottom
- Your profile at the very bottom
You can collapse the sidebar by clicking the toggle icon at the top to get more screen space.
2. Start Your First Chat
The fastest way to experience Arketic AI is to start a conversation.
- Click the "New Chat" button at the top of the sidebar
- Select an assistant — Arketic AI is your main assistant with access to your organization's knowledge
- Type a question like "What can you help me with?"
- Press Enter to send
The AI will respond and explain what it can do for you. From here, you can ask it to:
- Search your company's documents
- Create tasks for your team
- Summarize reports
- Answer questions about company policies
3. Check Your Tasks
If your team is already using Arketic, you might have tasks assigned to you.
- Click "Tasks" in the sidebar
- Your tasks appear on a Kanban board organized by status
- Drag a task card to move it between columns (e.g., from "To Do" to "In Progress")

Don't see any tasks? Ask your manager or admin to assign you one, or create your own by clicking "+ New Task".
4. Upload a Document
You can upload documents for the AI to reference in your conversations.
- Click "My Documents" in the sidebar
- Click "Upload" or drag-and-drop a file
- Choose an access level:
- Personal — Only you can see it
- Team — Your team members can see it
- Department — Your entire department
- Organization — Everyone in the company
- Click "Upload"
Once uploaded, you can ask the AI about the document's contents in any chat.
5. Customize Your Profile
Set up your profile so your team recognizes you.
- Click your profile picture at the bottom of the sidebar
- Select "Profile"
- Update your name, avatar, and notification preferences
- Click "Save"
