Documents FAQ


What file types can I upload? PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, audio, CSV, HTML, JSON, Markdown, and ZIP. See Supported Formats.


What is the difference between My Documents and Knowledge Base? My Documents is your personal storage. Knowledge Base is organization-wide, managed by admins. See Knowledge Base.


Can the AI read images? Yes. Images are processed with OCR (text recognition). The AI extracts any text found in the image.


Can the AI transcribe audio? Yes. Audio files are automatically transcribed to text. You can then search and ask questions about the content.


What are access levels? Five levels controlling who sees a document: Personal, Team, Department, Organization, Confidential. See Access Levels.


Can I change access level after uploading? Yes. Open the document and change its access level. The change takes effect immediately.


Are chat attachments saved to My Documents? No. Chat attachments are separate. Upload to My Documents if you want to keep files permanently.


Is there a file size limit? Yes, limits are set by your administrator. Try compressing large files before uploading.
