Tasks & Projects FAQ
What is the difference between a task and a project? A task is a single piece of work. A project is a shared workspace for team collaboration with AI across multiple conversations.
What is an epic? An epic groups related tasks into a larger initiative with automatic progress tracking. See Epics.
Can I create tasks for other people? Managers and admins can create and assign tasks. Members can only create tasks for themselves. See Creating Tasks.
How is task time tracked? Automatically. Each task is timed against its estimate or dates, counted within business hours. See Time Tracking.
What happens if a task goes over its target? It gets an "Over time" or "Late" badge, and you and your manager are notified. It appears in reports but does not block your work.
What are completion conditions? Requirements that must be met before a task can be marked done — like checklists, approvals, or file uploads. See Completion Conditions.
What is a blueprint? A reusable process template that automates multi-step workflows. See Blueprints.
Can I track time on tasks? Time is tracked automatically — no manual logging. Open any task to see its Time Tracking panel with elapsed time and target.
