Task Settings

The Settings tab is where managers and admins configure how tasks work — business hours, board columns, tags, and notifications. Manager or admin access required.


Where to Find It

Go to Tasks → Settings.


Department Settings (Managers & Admins)

Business Hours

Set each department's working window — start and end times plus working days (Monday–Sunday toggles).

These hours drive time tracking: only time inside working hours counts toward a task's target. See Time Tracking.

Column Customization

Customize the Kanban columns for a department:

  • Add, rename, or delete columns
  • Map each column to a status (Backlog, To Do, In Progress, In Review, Done)
  • Set a color for each

Changing columns affects everyone in the department. A column can't be deleted while it still has tasks.


Organization Settings (Admins)

Tag Management

Search, rename, and delete tags across all tasks — so your team uses a consistent set of labels.

Notification Settings

Turn task-related notifications on or off for the whole organization:

  • Task Activity
  • Comments & Interaction
  • SLA & Reminders — approaching deadlines, warnings, and escalations
  • Process & Requests

Tips

  • Set business hours first — they make time tracking fair and accurate
  • Keep columns simple — mirror how your team actually works
  • Tidy tags periodically — merge or remove duplicates for cleaner filtering
